PNU-DataSet. User Manual

The DataSet User Manual provides comprehensive guidance for researchers, students, and administrators on how to effectively use the PNU-DataSet open research repository at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (https://pnu.edu.ua/). Built on the InvenioRDM platform and aligned with FAIR data principles, the repository enables users to publish, manage, and share research outputs including datasets, publications, software, and presentations. This manual explains: How to register and authenticate using institutional or ORCID credentials; Step-by-step instructions for uploading and describing research outputs; Metadata best practices to enhance discoverability, accessibility, and reuse; Guidance on selecting appropriate open licenses; Integration with persistent identifiers such as DOI and ORCID; Data access settings (public, restricted, embargoed); Compliance with European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and Horizon Europe requirements. The manual is designed to support the digital curation activities of PNU-OpenLab (https://open-lab.pnu.edu.ua/ ) and its partners in the context of the OSCARS project (oscars-project.eu) and broader efforts to integrate Ukrainian research into the European Research Area.
